Sales Tax Refund – FTO – Misinterpretation
Millat Tractors Limited, in a notice dated November 16, 2023, addressed to the General Manager, Pakistan Stock Exchange Limited, has clarified that the news item appearing on website https//:propakistani.pk stating that “the President has directed FBR to restore investigation against Millat Tractor over fraudulent Sales Tax Refund” is factually as well as legally incorrect.
Instead of this, as per the letter, the President, in actual, has declined to interfere in an ongoing matter between the Company and the FBR.
