Implementation of Truck Axle Load Regime
Inline with the implementation of Trucks Axle Load Regime under the National Highway & Safety Ordinance, the Karachi Post Trust has issued a notification to ensure compliance with the said Axle load Regime.
In order to implement this regime, Pakistan International Container Terminal Limited [PICT], in a letter addressed to All Pakistan Customs Agent Association, has requested them to communicate this information to all of its members and customers, with request to adhere to the Axle Load Regime by assigning suitable truck(s) based on the weight of their consignment(s) for the transportation of containers to and from the Terminal to prevent any inconvenience.
Letter issued by PICT to All Pakistan Customs Agent Association is enclosed for ready reference.
