GAS PRICE INCREASE – STAY GRANTED BY THE SINDH HIGH COURT

Vide Notification dated February 15, 2024, OGRA has increased gas prices for all gas consumers effective retrospectively from February 1, 2024. 

Retrospective increase in Gas Tariff was challenged before the Sindh High Court by industrial / Captive consumers and the Sindh High Court, on March 14, 2024 has granted interim stay against retrospective increase in Gas prices. SSGC has been directed to issue revised bill within 2 days from the date of the order.
