Windfall Tax – Stay granted by Islamabad High Court

Islamabad High Court, in a case filed by Askari Bank Limited alongwith other banks, has granted interim stay against the application of SRO 1588 (I)/2023 dated 21.11.2023 [windfall tax on extraordinary profits]. Petitioners were represented by Advocates M/s Salman Akram Raja and Asad Ladha.
